I am an American writer and editor based in Dakar, Senegal. I have written and edited a range of projects with the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations since 2001. After an interlude in New York City raising my children, I have recently returned as a consultant to UNICEF.
In 2015, I was hired to compile and edit the UNICEF Cote d’Ivoire Annual Report, and in early 2016, I edited 25 Annual Reports for UNICEF Headquarters in New York. I’m currently working on a myriad of Child Protection Reports and Guidelines for UNICEF HQ. I recently finished a report for UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office (WCARO) Child Protection Programme that will contribute to the legacy of the Ebola response in West Africa and inform future public health emergencies.
